Test Pass Rates
Learner drivers taking their tests in Rochdale and Bury are more inclined too have a car crash within 12 months, while Cheadle retains top spot on Greater Manchester’s driving test centre podium.
Figures from the DVSA show that between April 2018 and March 2019 just 34pc of the 7,183 hopefuls who took their test in Rochdale passed.
That slumps a huge 12pc below ‘the national average of 46pc’, making it the sixth worst centre from over 300 in Great Britain.
Bury only just avoided last place with a dire rate of 35pc being able to ditch their L plates.
Here’s the full list of average pass rates across Greater Manchester’s 11 centres:
Cheadle: 58pc
Hyde: 55pc
Bolton: 51pc
Atherton: 50pc
Sale: 50pc
Bredbury: 45pc
West Didsbury: 45pc
Chadderton: 43pc
Cheetham Hill: 37pc
Bury: 35pc
Rochdale: 34pc
Choosing the correct Instructor for you
Here at RichMorris DrivingSafe we don’t just come above average with the pass rates, we SMASH them.
We use Bolton and Bury test centres, I try to use Bolton more than Bury but at the end of the day it’s up to you which one you use.
Over the last 3 years we have focused on using Bolton driving test centre and for each of those 3 years, our students have achieved over 80% pass rate.
In fact over the last 30 tests only 3 have been unsuccessful, each one by just one major fault, for example just a few weeks ago, one of them was turning into the test centre having only 3 driver faults, however her mind wondered and she went in on the wrong side of the road, all 3 only failed for a brief lack of concentration.
Not one of our students have ever failed for what we teach them.
We have many students that have high anxiety and have achieved that first time pass with our help, on average our students pass with only a couple of faults, many get zero faults(a perfect pass)
We adapt the lesson to you and go at your pace whether that be quickly but safely or taking a bit more time, its all about you.
